RHAPSODY IN BLUE (11) showed good pace over 1600m at this track when resuming last time and dug deep to score by 5 lengths. In a suitable race and can figure in the finish. SHONAN TAVARUA (9) finished fourth over 1600m at this track last time out following a determined win two back. Winning rider Norifumi Mikamoto stays aboard. Should be in the finish. HOKUTO BLUES (1) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed late and finishing 4 lengths away in second over 1600m at this track. One of the main contenders. JIKON (12) finished third at this track and distance at his last appearance six months ago. One to consider on an each-way basis at some decent value.
