Genuine tempo with Blackbuck leading the way. STOP THE WATER (7) resumed last time out and finished third over 1200m at this track, beaten 2 lengths, after giving away a big start on straightening. Won second-up last prep so expect improvement on the latest effort. BLACKBUCK (9) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1100m on the all-weather, scoring by half a length. Handy draw will assist and he cannot be discounted. DANCING SUPREMO (5) showed good speed last start over 1200m at this track and led throughout to win a Class 5. Down in the weights this time to tackle this better field. Should be in this for a long way. CHARMINTON (4) wound up late last start over this course and distance beaten just 1.5 lengths into fourth. Ready to peak after three runs back from a spell.
