LOTERIA (1) finished sixth last start, beaten 35 metres at Alexandra Park over 2200m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Expect her to be prominent from the favourable draw. THE MOONSTONE (9) got it wrong fresh but is proven second up so is improvement is likely and hasn't missed a place in four tries at this distance, winning twice. Last-winner winner NIAMH (4) should be at her peak third-up so could go on with it.
