Genuine tempo. LET SPARKS FLY (10) jumped favourite first-up at Geraldton and was horrible there. Happy to overlook the fresh effort as the figures from her debut campaign are right up to winning this. Vast improvement is expected, and she should get every chance today. RUBICK LASS (9) wasn't far off over 1406m here 11 days ago and can sit closer from the favourable alley this time. Had ten goes to shed the maiden tag now, but lands in a suitable race. Can make her presence felt. PERCUSSION PRINCE (3) just missed two back before a 3L defeat here over 1300m most recently. The wide draw may be a concern, but the gelding is racing well and should be in the finish on recent efforts. DESERT EDGE (5) resumes on the back of a handy trial at Lark Hill recently. Won't be far away. ROYALE MUCK UP (4) can be an improver with the blinkers on first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Let Sparks Fly.
