Genuine pace with Pajama Party taking up the running ahead of Good Reign and Pandeiro. STAR DRUMMER (8) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back with success as favourite over 1200m at Morioka Dirt two weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. Finds another suitable race and can get the job done again. PAJAMA PARTY (4) was quickly into stride and went on to score by 1.75 lengths last time out over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Drawn to go forward again and is a major player. BUMBUN MARU (9) turned things around last start and landed the prize by one length over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Could prove hard to beat again in this suitable race. WAIMANGU (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Morioka Dirt, finishing second and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Sure to be thereabouts.
