LAI LUA KE KAI (7) built on a nice third two starts back with success over 1700m at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a nose. Yamato Ishikawa scored on him last time and retains the ride. Can go on with it. TONE MUSUME (2) finished fifth last time out over 1200m at this track two weeks ago as $1.30 favourite. Steps up in journey today. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the main contenders.
