Good tempo anticipated with Pleasing Smile and Deep Stream leading the way. Hayes-trained PLEASING SMILE (9) jumped out well at Flemington and was only beaten 2L on the Pakenham synthetic on debut over 1400m. Raced forward and with the extra fitness can take this out. ETERNITY STAR (2) just missed this trip at Geelong and then resumed off an injury-enforced 473-day break, beaten 3.5L at Echuca 37 days ago over 1400m He will have taken plenty of improvement and has placed in a jumpout since. Maps well and is good enough. CRISMERA (11) and MCWOODY (8) both debut for the Walker yard and their jumpouts suggest they have the ability.
