HONEY TOAST (10) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start when he made late ground but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. TAKESHI (1) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LONELY PLANET (3) turned in a eye-catching run over 1200m at Funabashi last start when he got back but wound up hard to finish a close second. Solid top-three hope. TENDO (7) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Should be peaking. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
