CORTE DEFEAT (9) is struggling to find the winners' circle but has been around the mark, last start finishing third over 1400m at Urawa. In-form three-year-old colt so no reason he cannot take this out. LAVOTA (5) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time when he was prominent throughout over 1400m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. COLLBRANDE (7) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 1500m at this track at his last appearance on December 15 the only run of that campaign. Has a strong fresh record including a win and two minor placings. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will give backers a great sight. AILE LIBRE (6) held on well to finish second last time out over 1400m at this track after leading for much of the way. Strong top-three prospect.
