Moderate tempo with Ketchikan leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. STARTS NOW (6) was denied narrowly from breaking through at Gawler last start when beaten a lip. Cherry-ripe now and is sure to take plenty of beating. GABBATRON (8) showed improvement at her second start when sticking on soundly into the placings. Still figuring it all out but the inside gate should assist. Right in this. KETCHIKAN (3) finds the maiden win elusive but has turned in some handy efforts along the way. Gets a positive jockey switch to Dom Tourneur and is capable of playing a major role on best figures. Smaller cases can also be made for RIVOLI VIEW (5) and AFRICARN LAD (1).
