Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Hope In The Dark. HOPE IN THE DARK (5) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1300m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HARUMEKU (2) finished back in fifth over 1300m at this track last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and should be in the finish. POUR FEMME (4) improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. A SHIN TIPS (11) last start could only manage eighth at this track over 1300m after he got a long way back in the run. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
