Plenty of early pressure with Rikea Marron, Elenora and Miss Carrera leading the charge. RIKEA MARRON (5) built on a nice third two starts back at Morioka Dirt with a win as favourite over 1900m at Mizusawa seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. POR LA NOCHE (2) improved last start but found one better over 1700m at Monbetsu, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. ELENORA (6) ran below expectations last time at this track over 2000m, finishing fourth. Naoki Machida who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Expected to measure up. NIJIIRO HARPY (3) returns from a spell of five-and-a-half months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished sixth at Nagoya over 1500m when first-up last time in work.
