Solid tempo anticipated with Top Winner leading the way. MAX (5) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at this track over 1200m on January 25. Takayuki Yano who has five wins when partnering stays on. Well placed and should be in the finish. COPANO MERCURY (2) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by a neck at today's track and trip last start in a far better run. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. Grade 3 placegetter DIEU DU VIN (6) is back from a spell of four months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1600m at this track. Likely to take beating. HARRY BAROWS (9) is returning from a spell of ten weeks. Finished 13th at Kokura over 1200m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Junpei Morishita.
