STROM (6) resumed with a good win over 1400m on April 30 before disappointing as favourite last time. Fitter and expected to bounce back. FACE NINE (2) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back here with success over 1400m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task. ACCUEILLIR (1) turned in a fine effort to score by 8 lengths at today's track and distance last start in a far better run. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. CAVALIER QUEST (5) did a great job to score by 3 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. |
