Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Promising type who should make a bright start to her career. FLY THE FLAG (3) is on debut for the Yuta Sato stable. Two-year-old colt by Mikki Isle from Belle Robin. Looks set to run well. Betting holds the key. ANNA ROAD (4) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Tsutomu Tanaka. By Satono Aladdin from Asirpa. Expected to feature. AMALFI DIO (6) is a nicely bred two-year-old colt lining up for the first time. By Omega Perfume from Okaribe Queen who has been a successful producer. Should be thereabouts despite a tricky draw. |

ORTU SOLIS (9) returns from a spell of six months and did win first-up last time in work over 1200m at this track. Looks set to run well. CRISP OF WAR (6) is back after a break of nine weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at this track. Sure to make his presence felt. TOKUSHI KAGUYAHIME (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 26 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1500m at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Should be competitive once more. THESAURUS (11) finished 6 lengths from the winner in ninth at his most recent appearance over 1200m at this track. In the mix. |

MARI FACE (5) is a promising type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Races well here and rates a top chance again. BEST POSITION (4) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 1.3 lengths away in third over 1200m at this track. Should be prominent again from the low draw. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. WILD PEGASUS (6) comes here off a break of ten weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1200m at this track. Has to be respected. TAISEI GANAR (8) was beaten 16 lengths into 13th in a 1200m contest at Niigata Dirt five weeks ago. Better than recent efforts suggest. |

JESCO (11) did a great job to score by 2 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a layoff last start. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. DIR BRAND (4) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 1500m at Urawa, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and this looks well within his grasp. KING'S WAY (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Has a fair record when second up, including three top-three finishes. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. NITTO ATLAS (1) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at this track but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 5 lengths, over 2000m at Kawasaki. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. |

ALPHERG (7) resumes after a break of seven months. Did win at his only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 1200m at this track. Key runner while fresh. UNSURPASSED (11) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over today's course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. SASAKIN POPPY (3) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 900m at Kawasaki, finishing third and beaten 1.3 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. PURPLE RIDER (9) finished tenth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards. |

BURNING WIND (8) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with a win over 1800m at this track a month ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Wada Joji scored on him last time and retains the ride. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. TAISEI LE CIEL (6) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage eighth over 2000m at Kawasaki. Open to improvement and is among the chances. VIP ARIEL (1) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish 2.75 lengths away in fifth last start over 1400m at Urawa. Another bold showing is expected. SURGE (3) worked home well and finished third last time over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 4 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. |

GOD TREASURE (3) was a gutsy winner last time over 1800m at this track, scoring by half a length and making it three wins in a row. Can continue to build on the strong recent form. HIGH TIDE (9) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on December 21, finishing 16th and beaten 50 lengths over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Kiyoshige Arai. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will play a major role. BOLD CHAR (6) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a second, beaten 2 lengths, over 1600m at this track. Has sound form at this track and distance with a win and two minor placings from four runs. Sure to be thereabouts in a race that suits. LETEMPS ALLURE (4) fought on for second last start over 1600m at this track, beaten one length to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. |

CENTRAL GOVERNOR (1) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1200m at Ohi, clocking in 2.75 lengths from the winner. Has a good record at this journey with four wins from 13 starts. Among the leading chances. SPIRIT GUIDE (9) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish fifth over the same trip at Ohi. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. HARDWIRED (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1600m at this track. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. |

ZEUS BISTY (9) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Yet to miss the placings from seven starts at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. LASER SHOW (11) fought on for third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. |

Has a strong second-up record and will be a tough nut to crack again. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PEPTIDE SOLEIL (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt, beaten 17 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can take this out. SPARTA LEONIDAS (12) last appeared when he finished 13th over 2600m at Ohi on December 25. Has a solid first-up record of three wins and two placings from seven runs. Among the better hopes. |
