1 01:05 AWP GALMAX FENCING COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1300m
Moderate pace with Cammi taking up the running ahead of Artie's Magic and Pillager. Even contest. PLUNKETSTOWN (10) eight-start maiden who strips fitter second up with the nice weight drop. Battled late from the sticky gate when fifth over 1300m at Scone. Finds an easier contest with the claim. Can race closer and prove hard to hold out. PILLAGER (9) struggled on the quick backup when jumping in trip with a disappointing eighth over 1600m at Dubbo. Finds a weaker contest and can turn it around over his preferred trip. IMPENDING FORTUNE (1) improving with racing and like the way he closed off when second over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Well placed to play a leading role. ARTIE'S MAGIC (2) gets a more economical run from the low gate after tiring late when fourth over 1200m at Tamworth. Cross over nose band goes on and stays in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 10,9,1,2.
2 01:40 METALCORP TAMWORTH COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1400m
Genuine tempo anticipated with good speed engaged. HALLE BEE (8) well found at start twenty when a commanding 4 len winner over 1400m at Tamworth. Returned good figures at latest and this is no tougher with the drop in weight. Goes close. MAD HARRY (5) finally got off the mark at start twenty-seven when powering late for a gritty victory over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Extra distance suits with the solid tempo anticipated. Look for him late. DOWN THE KOOKA (3) bumped into a couple of classy types when a fading tenth to Cluedo over 1400m at Taree. Gets a better set-up today and expected to take a hand in the finish. MONTGOLFIER (4) taken straight to the front when up in distance for a slick 3 len win over 1250m at Taree. Can keep the winning momentum going.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Halle Bee in a solid contest.
3 02:15 CONQUEST CROP PROTECTION MAIDEN PLATE 950m
Parissident, It Stays In Vegas and Ransom's Girl all possess good speed. IT STAYS IN VEGAS (10) improving Shalaa two-year-old with his hoof on the till. Comes here in peak form after surging late with a narrow third over 1000m at Scone. Goes close on the backup. LONG TIME LOVERS (3) first run for the Stephen Edwards yard when resuming with a struggling eighth over 800m at Narromine. Strips fitter from the good draw and can do much better over the extra trip. ZOUPHISTICATE (9) returns from a lengthy spell and now in the Monique Gavin stable. Finds a much easier assignment and primed for this with the two trials. Claim helps from the good gate. Gets her chance. PARISSIDENT (6) holding her form and a win looks imminent. Sat on the good tempo when gripping on late to run third over 800m at Narromine. Kody Nestor stays aboard and no shock to see her take this out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 10,3,9,6.
4 02:50 INFRABUILD STEEL CENTRE TAMWORTH BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 950m
Strong early tempo with Surreal Ascot and Too Darn Lovely leading the way. SURREAL ASCOT (2) tough mare racing in career best form. Up in class with the 58.5kg when a slick on pace winner over 1200m at Kilcoy. Will roll forward and prove hard to run down. SUPER SIOUX (7) chasing her third win from her last four outings and gets weight relief with the claim. Given the gun run when asserting her class late to salute in a tight finish over 800m at Narromine. Can slide across from the gate and figure prominently. OCTAVIAN TREASURE (8) struck trouble at the start and got further back than expected when an even sixth over 1000m at Dubbo. Tempo suits and not without each way claims. SOOBOOCO (4) came out fast when up in class for a fading fourth over 1100m at Scone in C3 class. Senior rider engaged and stays in the calculations.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Surreal Ascot to win again.
5 03:25 NUFARM AUSTRALIA CLASS 1 HANDICAP 950m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Champagne Tonight. KEADOOL (4) comes to hand quickly and like the way he attacked the line from the sticky draw when an eye catching second over 950m at Cowra first up. Gets the claim again and should have a successful prep. ARCHAIC FORCE (3) bumped into some progressive types at his last three outings and will prove hard to stop today. Chipped away late when sixth to Solitario over 1200m at Scone. Genuine top three player. CHAMPAGNE TONIGHT (6) first run for the Stirling Osland yard when returning for a gritty win over 1000m at Scone. Looks up to this from the low draw and not to be underestimated. LIVE TO RISE (7) progressive filly heading in the right direction. Drifted back from the wide draw when a surging third over 1000m at Tamworth. Strips fitter and gets her chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keadool to go one better.
6 04:05 SYNGENTA AUSTRALIA BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1600m
Plenty of pace from Lady Cornelia, Allande and Prefer The Wink matching motors ahead of Lip Sip Suk. CHASING JACKLEY (1) holding his form in stronger company and ready to win with the claim. Back in trip when sitting on the speedy for a gritty fifth over 1625m at Toowoomba in BM72 class. Best form is over this trip and backs-up quickly. No excuses here. LONDON POINT (7) deep into her prep and stretches out to the mile for the first time this campaign. Dragged back from the gate and failed to get into the contest when eighth over 1300m at Toowoomba. Recent efforts were sound and has the figures to take this out. BIG SHORT (3) no match for the progressive Zelestial at latest when a plugging fifth over 1600m at Scone. In peak condition and looks well placed for this. MOOTESSA (4) kept fresh for this after failing to finish off when sixth over the 1625m at Toowoomba. Gets map favours and stays in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Chasing Jackley to bounce back.
7 04:45 MOREE AG SUPPLIES & STEEL BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1300m
Good tempo with several going forward, primarily Blackhill Kitty, Cooma Hut and Ringside. LESGO DON (7) deep into his prep and back into his right class. Has a solid record over this course and distance and happy to overlook his last start tenth over 1515m at Coffs Harbour. Key jockey change with Les Tilley taking the reins. PAPPIANA (2) has been a model of consistency this time in and gets her chance again. Stalked the speed when an unlucky second over 1400m at Dubbo. Goes close if she can get cover early. OUTBACK CRUMPET (6) comes to hand quickly and returned in good order when a fast finishing fifth over 1200m at Tamworth. Senior rider on from the good draw and can race much closer. Sure to be thereabouts. DOLLY JAYNE (12) was a month between runs when unsuited over the 1000m at Scone to run sixth. Can race closer over this trip and capable of running into the minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lesgo Don finds his race.
