RACING GOES ON 1800M HANDICAP 1800m
GOLD TACK (11) is a long-standing maiden, though he has been showing positive signs in recent events. He stuck on well over the mile here last start off a 31-day freshen and now rises in trip where he's placed 4/8. Purton hops in the saddle in a good push for his chances and he can finally shed the maiden tag. SUPER HONG KONG (7) steps back in trip following a strong effort over 2000m here just 9 days ago, finishing off well from the tail of the field. He was beaten 2.3L there, but the figure suggests he's on the sup of another win. Can sit closer and put his best foot forward. MR ALADDIN (10) was beaten 3L as favourite last start at Happy Valley after making a mid-race move and was closing stronger over 1800m at Happy Valley prior to that, again as favourite. Needs a touch of luck, but the form out of his past couple has been solid and he can't be discounted. LEATHER MASTER (3) is hard to knock on recent form and won't be far away. |

WORLD-CLASS LEADERSHIP 1000M HANDICAP 1000m
ROBOT LUCKY STAR (8) has shown promising signs at the trials and Zac Purton hops in the saddle on debut, despite not riding him at the trials. His full sibling is a winner over 900m and with the pace he's shown at the trials, the outside draw is a big tick. Finds a suitable race on debut and can score a debut victory. HEROIC MASTER (1) got a long way back last start and never featured, but was better over this track and trip the start prior. Drawing out wide is a big tick for him and Ellis Wong is in hot form at the minute, striking at 22% from his last 50 rides. Can put his best foot forward. STRAIGHT TO GLORY (3) just missed when sitting on the speed here as a $56 shot and turned in a solid figure. It's not out of the blue however, as he ran to a similar mark on debut at this track and trip. Has claims despite his big SP last start. MR DESIRA (7) is another on debut, this time for Caspar Fownes. Moved well in a recent trial and won't be far away. |

UNCOMPROMISING INTEGRITY 1400M HANDICAP 1400m
FORTUNATE SON (1) jumped an $9.60 chance in tougher company last start and now drops in grade today in what looks a very suitable assignment. He's trialled nicely since his latest run 55 days ago and he's a winner at this trip previously. Purton now hops in the saddle and if he runs up to his recent form, he'll take beating. MIGHTY STEED (4) just missed over this track and trip last time out, beaten 0.3L after sitting close to the speed. His record reads 0/8 here at this trip, but he rates highly off his last start effort and now gets the Winkers on. Maps for a similar run this time and he can return to winning form. LAKESHORE HERO (12) disappointed last start when never getting into the race, but he has shown good signs prior. Winkers go on now and improvement is expected. LUCKY YEAR (8) has looked good at the trials coming into this debut and won't be far away. |

SERVING THE COMMUNITY 1200M HANDICAP 1200m
LUNAR DASH (2) jumped the $2 favourite on debut and only just missed at this track and trip, beaten 0.3L when tiring close to home. He'll be fitter for that effort and he's since trialled in sharp fashion with the Blinkers on, which he'll wear today. Good figures last start and he looks the one to beat with his scope for improvement. WONDERSTAR (1) just missed out on victory when beating Lunar Dash last start, but he meets that galloper worse at the weights today. He's knocking on the door of another victory and he'll make his own luck up on the speed. Likely to play a major role. MIRACLE FIGHTER (7) comes through that same race where he was beaten 1.5L without much luck, particularly at the start. The wide draw is a niggle, but he comes in off the premier form race and with a touch more luck, he'll go close. AUTUMN DELIGHT (11) got the job done at Happy Valley last start and maps to get every chance today. Can go back-to-back. |

THE HONG KONG REUNIFICATION CUP (HANDICAP) 1400m
The feature of the day now and it's hard to go past LIGHT YEARS CHARM (4) who was outstanding here 23 days ago. He settled out the back, but rounded up his rivals with ease as the $1.70 favourite and ran away to score by 1.5L. He's up in weight, but he looks to have plenty of class and he can go on with the job. BRILLIANT EXPRESS (11) missed by 1L as favourite last start after taking the lead midway down the straight. He felt the pinch late after racing wide and without cover throughout, but he turned in a strong figure and the form out of the race has held up. Can make his presence felt with a touch of luck. TOURBILLON PRINCE (9) won a good form race 31 days ago over the mile here and now drops in trip. He is a three-time winner at 1400m however and he drops 6kg for the rise in grade. Can play a role. SOLEIL FIGHTER (5) is knocking on the door of another win and can feature as the Blinkers go on for the first time. |

BEAUTY GLORY (1) is better than we've seen his past couple, though connections may have been racing towards the Class drop which he gets today. His form prior in tougher company was very strong and he can lead from the wide barrier. Hard to knock if he's at his best and he can end his winning drought. REWARDING TWINKLE (12) looks ready for the rise in trip now after finishing off strongly at Happy Valley most recently. He's still learning his craft, but he's shown very strong signs in recent efforts and further improvement is anticipated up in trip. Can put his best foot forward. SIMPLE HEDGE (5) drops right back in trip today but that doesn't look an issue as he's won twice here previously. Comes into this off a freshen and can be finishing off strongly. RUN RUN TIMING (14) jumped favourite last start but was pulled up out of the race early on. He's since trialled well and he can bounce back to form. |

LA FORZA (3) resumed from a freshen last start in disappointing fashion, jumping the race favourite and never really looking likely. He'll be better for that effort however and he had trialled well between runs. Happy to overlook one poor performance and expect him to bounce back to form. MAJESTIC EXPRESS (6) ran over the top to score narrowly here 23 days ago in a strong performance. He rises in weight, but he's trialled nicely since that effort and he'll be out of trouble from the barrier. Can repeat the dose without surprising. ACE CHAMPION (9) has moved well at the trials since arriving in Hong Kong from Ireland where was n impressive debut winner. He's down in the weights and he's shown good speed at the trials. Can give a bold sight on debut. SMART AVENUE (11) is another making his HK debut. He may be better over further but this looks a nice kick off point for him. |

MR COOL (1) is a lightly raced gelding by Maurice up to the mile for the first time. He gets the Winkers on today following a solid effort last start over 1400m and Atzeni now takes the ride. Likely to be back in the run, but if he can improve as expected, he can return to winning ways. SPECIAL HEDGE (13) disappointed last start when slowly away and never getting into the race over 1400m. Back up to the mile today where he was impressive in a strong form race two back. Has the speed to offset the wide draw and can play a major role. SOARING BRONCO (8) is better than he showed last start at Happy Valley and was in god touch prior. Avdulla now hops in the saddle and he was a track and trip winner back in march. Needs some luck from the alley but can play a leading role. HAPPY UNIVERSE (11) bounced back last start and won't be far away again from a favourable barrier. |

MATTERS MOST (12) turned his form right around last start with a dominant win over this course and distance, scoring by 3 lengths. The form out of the race has worked out well and while this is tougher, he'll carry no weight after the claim of Wong. Maps to get his chance again and can repeat the dose. INFINITE RESOLVE (2) just missed as a $13 chance first-up at this course and distance 31 days ago. He's had a quiet trial since to keep him up to the mark and he has the speed to cross from a wide gate. Fitter for that run and can go one better this time. BUNDLE OF CHARM (3) finished 1L away last start at this track and trip and turned in a strong rating in the process. Avdulla rides now in a good push for his chances and a repeat effort will see him go close. MAGNIFICENT NINE (5) was a horror watch for punters last start, never seeing clear running until it was too late, beaten 1.3L. This looks to shape similarly from a good draw, though suspect Avdulla will be trying to get him out with plenty of time to spare. Can correct the wrongs of last start. YUEN LONG ELITE (3) finished 2.5L off the winner last start over 1400m and steps up to the mile for the first time today. The rise in trip doesn't look an issue and he has the speed to work across from the deep if Yeung chooses to. Racing well this campaign and rates a winning contender. FLYING LUCK (4) got too far back to threaten last start as favourite, though the form out of that race has worked out well and his efforts prior produced strong ratings. Now gets some weight relief with the claim of Wong and he can bounce back. EXCELLENCE VALUE (2) wasn't far away last start at Happy Valley and now gets Purton as he returns to Sha Tin. Include. |
