Whitford Liquid Waste Maiden Plate 1200m
Invinciboo to take charge ahead of Kazza Joy at a good tempo. KEENI (10) drew wide and belted home when missing a long neck at Seymour on debut. She has the inside gate today and is sure to have come on and appreciate the longer sprint. Promising and ready to win. CORONATION DAY (8) brings the best numbers, with the short-head defeat at Sale the best of them. Went close on debut and has jumped out well for her return. Looks ready to go and is a live chance.
BIALIATSKI (1) debuts and won a recent jumpout at the track with race rider John Allen aboard. Has a low draw and can't be ruled out.
INVINCIBOO (3) resumes and has pieces of form that would see him around the mark. He may be the one who controls the race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keeni with the immediate form and fitness. |

Global Turf Maiden Plate 1500m
Solid tempo anticipated with Lord Chapel heading them off. TEAM HEIST (8) has race fitness, and John Allen rides today and knows his way around here. Went close at Mornington two-back over this trip and wasn't far off on the Pakenham synthetic last time. Maps well and is ready to win. and gets another chance. BROTHER QUICKIE (3) is in good hands and can show more third-up. He disappointed on the Pakenham synthetic last time but resumed much improved. REWARD THE CROWN (7) has the blinkers applied again and is on a 7-day return. He's well into his preparation and needs to find more. ALL IN VAIN (1) is likely to go better today, but his numbers leave him short as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Team Heist appeals most. |

Manhari Maiden Plate 2100m
Moderate pace with Rivazza taking up the running ahead of Dun Wondering and Not Fake. DUN WONDERING (3) will be well fancied with most of his competition struggling for form. He improved sharply when narrowly beaten here over 1500m, and with the extra fitness the step up to a middle distance shouldn't be an issue. CALGARY FLYER (2) went close over a mile and then was eased out of it at Geelong (vet cleared). He was required to jump out satisfactorily and did that here in good style. Has the blinkers on for the first time and a 2kg claim. Each way. RIVAZZA (11) peaks and showed enough at Seymour two back to suggest she can get some of the money. John Allen is a key jockey switch. BATTLE POINT (1) will be around the mark if he puts his best foot forward. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Dun Wondering. |

Porter Plant BM64 Handicap 1500m
In a race without an obvious leader, either Albanian Star or Radstar can roll them along. SHE MOGUL (1) went close here second-up and will be better for it. She draws awkwardly but will be well ridden and is still shy of her best. The extra metres suit. The one to beat. ALBANIAN STAR (3) won here and then came back and found a place in a 64. She will get every chance to break back. FOREST DIAMOND (5) raced well last preparation and resumed with a narrow defeat over a mile in a 52. She tumbles in weight this grade with a 2kg claim atop, and that brings her right into it. RADSTAR (4) has a positive record this track/trip and will be better for the first-up run off a long break. She'd be in the mix at best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing She Mogul. |

Hygain Winners Choice BM64 Handicap 1500m
There should be a bit of pressure with Delivering and Anointed Lad pressing forward in advance of Wats Normal and Absolute Sunshine. DELIVERING (2) enjoyed the switch to this track leading and spacing the 58 graders over this trip. He's in the premier stable and has a weight drop. Rates to be winning again. ABSOLUTE SUNSHINE (8) has been knocking on the door and found the above 2.5L too good last time. His effort here three back rates well enough and he may get closer. WATS NORMAL (3) is going well and was narrowly beaten last time on the Pakenham synthetic over 1400m. He draws wide but with average luck would be a hope and the stable flies at this track. IT'SBRUCE (7) is over from South Australia and shouldn't be taken lightly. His effort two back at Morphettville Parks stacks right up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Delivering. |

Sportsbet Blackbook BM70 Handicap 1200m
Good early pressure with Mantua or I Am War likely to take up the running. AREZZO (8) resumes and is another decent hope for the Hayes stable. He was a comfortable Geelong Maiden winner on debut and was spelled after a 1.6L defeat at Sandown-Lakeside in a 64. He's jumped out well and has 3kg weight relief. He has plenty of scope for improvement. MANTUA (5) is in the premier stable and can fire off a solid effort at Sandown-Lakeside. He has more up his sleeve and is ready for his first attempt over 1200m. SANTASTICO (4) peaks off a 1.3L defeat this grade, track and trip. The rail should advantage and he has each way claims. SOTOMAYOR (10) is third-up and capable. A better effort is likely. The late market should tell the story with IL CUBO (7), who resumes for a new stable. Good enough at best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Arezzo. |

Expecting In Love to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. Competitive. SIOUX SPIRIT (1) peaks and improved again narrowly beaten at Sale in stronger. Jumped from a wide gate and there was plenty of merit in the effort. She's been kept on the fresh side and the 3kg claim brings her right into it. IN LOVE (8) led and won comfortably here this grade quickly back on track. She will jump and run and give a big sight again. GIVE FAITH (9) has been busting to win on turf and may take to this surface. Keep onside. DEMOJO (2) resumes and following a long break needed the first up outing. Needs to lift on what we've seen, but the early markets suggest he will. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Sioux Spirit each-way. |
