NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:30 KILCOY DIGGERS CUP SUNDAY 24 AUGUST Maiden Plate 1200m
Reasonable tempo with Stell's Angel probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. RED TOFFEE (3) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in three of five overall and strikes a very winnable contest here. Will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell and maps well from gate four. In a suitable race and can play a major role in the outcome. MALBEC MAN (6) placed at Dalby on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Tuned up for this with two recent trials and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. WAITING FOR GRAHAM (7) placed over this track and trip before the break and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Top-three aspirations. BUBBLY MOON (10) hasn't been too far away in all five outings to date and this is not an overly strong affair. Can fill the frame with the right run. Former Victorian MIDNIGHT MIRACLE (13) has been supported in both local runs and where there's smoke there's fire. Keep safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Red Toffee to break the maiden status.
2 01:05 KILCOY GLOBAL FOODS Maiden Plate 1500m
Better Believe It, Shamiela and Lucifer The Cat can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. LORD DANILO (1) has placed three of his past four, including one over this track and trip, and looks to be knocking on the door of a maiden victory. Drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two and gets 1.5kg weight relief with the claim. Ticks plenty of boxes for a race like this. SCOTTVILLE SCOOTER (11) has been thereabouts in recent efforts and will be rock-hard fit for this now fifth-up. Looms as the main danger. Former NSW galloper SALLY'S KATO (3) is having his first run for the new stable but should find this easier than what he faced down south. Respect any market confidence. HAPPY COFFEE (12) just missed the placings here last time out in a career-best performance. Draws the inside marble and can improve enough to feature in the finish. BUBBLY MOON (10) rounds out the selections.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lord Danilo to break through.
3 01:40 LADBROKES BM55 Handicap 1900m
Expecting Born To Be Alive to take up the running with Barocco Bar and Cook Island Girl close at hand. BORN TO BE ALIVE (7) was a six-length winner at Ballina at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that dominant victory. Winning hoop Zechner sticks in the saddle and is sure to get a gun run from the favourable draw. Can make it back-to-back. COOK ISLAND GIRL (6) doesn't win out of turn but has hit the top-five in six of her past seven starts and is usually thereabouts. May make her presence felt. KENSHIN MARU (4) has placed over this course and distance and will be rock-hard fit for this. Nicely placed in this contest. FORCE ME (12) loves this track and trip with three wins and three placings from just six attempts. Gets in light with the claim and looks one for the exotics. RADEGAST (3) next in line despite the sticky draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 7,6,4,12.
4 02:15 PAT DUFF MEMORIAL CUP BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1900m
Looks to be plenty of pace with Shot Down By Love and Swiper battling for the lead. SWIFT SON (5) put in an improved performance placing over this distance range at the latest outing and hoop Bayliss stays in the saddle. Maps well from gate four and his best figures put him right in this contest. JUSTICE SERVED (1) didn't measure up in much harder company last time out but go on the strong Grafton victory two back. Draws the inside alley and gets some weight off with the claim. Capable of bouncing right back. SHAPE OF WATER (6) just ran into one better over this course and distance last time when trying to lead all the way. Sure to give backers a sight. SWIPER (3) broke the maiden status over this track and trip before the spell and will have come on with that first-up run now in the locker. Keep in mind. DECEMBER DIAMOND (9) next best from the low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Swift Son in an open affair.
5 02:50 LADBROKES KILCOY CUP SUNDAY 24 AUGUST Fillies & Mares RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1200m
Plenty of pace from the outset with Coco Jewel and Allezizzy leading the charge. MORGANITE (3) is a very consistent conveyance who has hit the top-five in eight of nine career starts and rarely puts in a poor one. Drawn to get a soft run from gate one and gets 2kg weight off with the claim. Plenty to like about her prospects. HARD TO DISMISS (1) has a solid record over this six-furlong journey with two wins and ten placings from 15 attempts. Strips fitter second-up from the spell and should be going very close. DOUBLESHARKATTACK (11) has been right there of late, including a runner-up finish over this track and trip last time out. Include in calculations. GRANDEUR ROSE (8) is a three-time winner here at this circuit and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to play a role in the outcome. HI JULES (2) is yet to miss a drum in four first-up outings and can run another big race while fresh.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Morganite.
6 03:25 KILCOY EXCHANGE HOTEL Colts, Geldings and Entires RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1200m
Keen speed battle, with Daintree Dreaming, Paballo and Bee Two prominent. PAPER COWBOY (6) was too bad to be true at the latest effort but go on the two solid victories prior. Has placed over this track and trip and gets some weight off with Newman's 2kg claim. Can bounce right back to the winners' stall here. PABALLO (5) has hit the frame at the past couple and looks to be building up to another win. Another to get some weight relief and is capable of testing his rivals. ABOVE THE SKY (13) has a handy record around this circuit with a win and four placings from just six spins. Can run a race while fresh. GALLERY MASTER (9) has a win and two seconds from five starts over this track and trip and will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell. Best figures measure up. PALATIAL PRINCE (3) has placed two from two over this course and distance and may make his presence felt first-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 6,5,13,9.
7 04:05 SEARLES GARDEN PRODUCTS QTIS Three-Year-Old BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1200m
Plenty of pressure primarily from Bonfire Spark, What A Doozy and Hidden Nugget. ESPRIT DU JOUR (10) saves her best form for this distance range with a win and three seconds from just four starts and looks to be in the doorstep of another victory. Gets the reliable Gollan/Lang combination and should prove very tough to hold out. HOFFMAN (4) broke the maiden status at the Sunny Coast before being given time to mature. Revved up for this with two recent trials and looks to have some upside. Profiles nicely. TIPSY TIGER (11) has placed over this track and trip, hails from an astute yard and gets 2kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. GOT GUMPTION (3) is a bit hit or miss but is more than capable enough on his day. Respect any market confidence. IN GREAT SPIRIT (15) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 10,4,11.
8 04:40 LADBROKES QUICK MULTI BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 1500m
Solid pace with Hooks finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. Open race to close out the card. NAGAMIE (1) just ran into one better at the Gold Coast when resuming and will have derived a stack of benefit blowing out the cobwebs there. Was heavily supported on that occasion and where there's smoke there's fire. Will be right there when the judge calls a halt. BEST COFFEE (4) put back-to-back wins together before the spell including one around this circuit. Lerena sticks and can run a big race while fresh. ATLANTIC ROYAL (15) resumes here but the form he showed before the spell was good enough for a race of this nature. Top-three candidate while fresh. HOOKS (6) has placed over this course and distance and gets 3kg off with the claim. Should give backers a sight up on speed. LA MANO (7) best of the rest from the inside alley.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Nagamie to go one better.
