NEW ZEALAND BLOODSTOCK COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1250m
Pace only fair with Another Peach rolling to the lead ahead of Thor's Lightning and New Frontier. MAD HARRY (6) placed here in March and indicated a win was imminent when a tough on pace second over 1300m at Scone. On the quick back-up and surely today is the day he gets off the mark at start twenty-seven. TIGERMOTH (2) first run for the new stable when he worked home fairly down the outside to finish sixth over 900m at Scone on resumption. Further improved now and will relish this track and the extra distance. ANOTHER PEACH (3) unlucky not to shed her maiden status last prep and looks ready for this with the two searching trials. No match for the progressive Warrior For Peace when third over 1500m at Muswellbrook. Gets her chance today. IMPENDING FORTUNE (1) will take great benefit out of his plugging debut fifth over 1108m at Port Macquarie. Can race closer today and take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mad Harry in a tight contest. |

SHARP OFFICE CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1250m
Genuine tempo from Divine Bene leading Tonkatsu Goddess. Solid contest with plenty of chances. THEBES (7) resumes without a trial and expected to have furnished further over the break. Came to the end of his prep when a disappointing sixth over 1400m at Newcastle last February 18. Lone victory came at this trip and gets his chance from the good draw. TONKATSU GODDESS (4) big improvement at her second run back when sitting up on the speed for a determined second over 1200m at Newcastle. Ready to win from the inside gate on the firmer surface. AGED CARE (2) trained locally and starting to build a solid winning CV. Kept fresh when demolishing his rivals with the 60.5kg over 1208m at Port Macquarie. In peak form and looks up to this stiffer contest. DIVINE BENE (3) handy gelding starting to put it all together this campaign. Comes out of a very solid contest when third to French Marine over 1200m at Wyong. Undefeated at this track and can take this out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Thebes each-way. |

THE ADVISER COLLECTIVE MAIDEN PLATE 1350m
Just a moderate tempo headed by Namara, Purple Haze and City Gold Field. PICCADERRO (2) underrated gelding who finds his race today from the low draw. Tough effort with the 60kg from the wide draw when fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Gets a much better run here with the tongue tie going on. Goes close. CITY GOLD FIELD (1) improving with racing and will appreciate this journey and the roomier track. No match for the smart Signor Tortoni when third over 1200m at Gosford. Finds an easier contest fourth up. SIR TUA (10) drifted late in betting at his second race start when a respectable fourth over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Extra trip is in his favour and can finish closer. SWEXAN (4) was run off his feet first up when a plugging third over 1100m at Wyong. Desperate for this trip and further now and look for him late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Piccaderro to get off the mark. |

DAILEY FAMILY FUNERALS MAIDEN PLATE 1150m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by From The Peak. Solid race with some exciting prospects engaged. FROM THE PEAK (4) resumes after knocking up late on debut when a tough on pace second over 1200m at Newcastle on March 7. Expected to have developed further since and primed for this with the two trials. Won't be a maiden for too much longer. LOUISBURGH (3) has a fitness edge over most of these fourth up and back in trip on the firmer surface. Winkers come off and will prove hard to get past from the inside gate. ANDHE'S BRAVE (6) has shown potential in his two career runs and brings the right figures to take this out. Closed off strongly when third over 1100m at Goulburn. Maps well. GRAPHIC SIGHT (7) resumes after having to work hard early from the wide gate on debut, when a fading third over 1000m at Canberra. Given the two trials for this and expected to take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: From The Peak gets her chance. |

HORSEPOWER FEEDS & SUPPLIMENTS CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2100m
Khant Fail to take up the running with Lennox and Twenty Four Guns close at hand. DE LOUVIERE (1) deep into his prep and will find this a much easier assignment. Jumped in grade and never really comfortable on the tight Wyong track when seventh over 2000m in a BM64. Assess on his good second two starts back. FAIRHEAD (8) stablemate to De Louviere who stretches out to this trip for the first time. Massive jump in grade when a plugging fourth over 1800m at Hawkesbury in BM64 class. Winning rider sticks and gets a much better run. Each way. LENNOX (2) imported gelding finally drawn a good gate at his fourth Australian run. Showed plenty of grit when a tough fifth over 1900m at Canterbury. Proven at this trip and will take plenty of stopping. MR CONSPIRACY (6) on the quick back-up after charging late when second over 2100m at Hawkesbury last Thursday. Genuine top three contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,8,2,6. |

A-PLUS CONTRACTING & POLY WELDING CG&E BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1150m
Strong tempo expected with Maktabi, Dubai Gold and The Piccolino prominent. DUBAI GOLD (4) smart gelding who faded late with the 58kg first up when a narrow third over 1100m at Scone. Has clearly come back well and will prove hard to run down on his home track. EXECUTIVE DECISION (1) will find this much easier with the 4kg claim after powering late to finish a sound second over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Will drift back again and close off strongly over the extra distance. THE PICCOLINO (2) is starting to put it all together now and chasing his third straight win. Up sharply in weight today after gripping on for a game win over 1100m at Scone. Sure to be thereabouts. ARAMBYS (6) Scone-trained gelding who was slow into stride at his first run back and never looked a winning chance when tenth over 1106m at Port Macquarie. Capable of better on the quick back-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dubai Gold looks ready to win. |

VALE BEN SMITH F&M BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1150m
Strong tempo with Magical Elegance, Love And Light and Sagaponack leading the way. ITSZARBABY (8) has only the one win from thirteen starts and is well graded for this. Big jump in grade when a narrow second over 1100m at Nowra. Gets the gun run from the draw and no excuses here. SAGAPONACK (5) up in class from the wide gate and was a total forgive when a poor tenth over 1000m at Tamworth. Can race much closer from the gate and play a leading role. MAGICAL ELEGANCE (2) went out a winner over this track and trip last February. Kept safe in betting when resuming with a dismal first up eight over 1100m at Goulburn. Pulled up with a respiratory issue on that occasion and expected to bounce back with the winkers going on. SHEZATEMPEST (6) Trust In A Gust mare who comes up from Victoria and now in the Jay Hopkins yard. Kept fresh for this and back in trip with the claim. Stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Itszarbaby looks too strong for these. |

THE PRINCE OF MEREWETHER COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1300m
Reasonable tempo with My Mate Kate probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. MY MATE KATE (6) consistent mare well placed for this back to the 1300m. Covered ground in the run when up to the mile for a tiring fourth at Gosford in this class. Winning rider sticks and she gets a much better run. Hard to hold out. PAPPIANA (10) won two of her last five starts and comes here in peak condition. Anchored with the big weight and never on the track when fourth over 1400m at Mudgee in a Picnic race. Winning rider back on and assess on her solid win two back at Inverell. EIGHTY EIGHT STARS (3) drifted back from the wide gate and never got into the contest when eleventh over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Look for him finding the line late. GOLDEN HONOUR (4) adept in all conditions and will find this easier with the nice weight drop. Anchored with the 62.5kg when a tenacious on-pace fourth over 1505m at Coffs Harbour. Holding form and gets his chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,10,3,4. |
