ADVANCE BUILDING SERVICES 2&3YO MAIDEN HANDICAP 1100m
Not a big field but many face the starter for the first time so the pace should be genuine. ZING TO ME (3) encouraging debut last August when hitting the line strongly from the wide gate to secure second over 1000m at Hawkesbury in fast time. Had plenty up the sleeve in her two trial wins and regular rider sticks. No excuses from the good gate. JIMMY RECARD (5) another who resumes from a lengthy break. Kicked off in a strong contest when a fading eighth over 1000m in the LR Debutante Stakes at Caulfield. Given the one trial in readiness and expected to have strengthened over the break. JUST LEGENDARY (6) Justify gelding from Stockton Abbey on debut for the Waterhouse & Bott yard. Fitted with the two good trial wins and the blinkers go on. Gets his chance. DAME DIVIDEND (7) is a well-bred filly by Capitalist from top race mare Hurtle Myrtle on debut for the Matt Smith yard. Has the two even trials in readiness for this and gets in light with Bourke's claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zing To me to shed her maiden status. |

JOHN SINGLETON GROUP CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1100m
Expecting Hawker Hall to take up the running with Mal Coupe and Vinniro close at hand. Handy race with plenty of emerging prospects. HAWKER HALL (3) third up now and expecting a better showing after tiring late when fifth from the outside gate over 900m at Newcastle. Can take control early and will have little trouble running the 1100m out with winning rider back aboard. HONEY PERFUME (6) comes here in peak condition and will relish the drop in trip on the firmer surface. Disappointed as the ($1.60 fav) when second over 1200m here last start. Doesn't have to improve much to win this. DONWON (2) will appreciate the 3kg claim again after getting off the mark at start nine over 1000m at this track. Well drawn for this and fitness should take him a long way. NOW YOU'VE DONE IT (7) lived up to expectations at first run back when closing strongly for a sharp win over 1000m here. Strengthened up and gets her chance again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hawker Hall in a keenly contested race. |

RUSSELL RAYMOND MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Solid tempo anticipated with Signor Tortoni leading the way. SIGNOR TORTONI (6) all four career runs have been encouraging and strips fitter after returning with a narrow second over 1000m at Goulburn. Looking for this trip now and goes close. VALENTIAGO (9) Dundeel gelding resuming after chipping away late on debut when sixth over 1300m at Newcastle. Given the two trials in readiness for this and will keep improving as he steps up in trip. JUSTICE WARRIOR (3) frustrating gelding who comes here in peak condition. Sat on the good tempo when a gritty third over 1280m at Muswellbrook on June 1. Can slide across from the wide draw and take a hand in the finish. ZOSMA (7) improving with racing and can sneak into the placings third up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Signor Tortoni to get off the mark. |

SHARP DS PROVINCIAL CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2100m
Reasonable tempo with Golden Smile probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. GOLDEN SMILE (2) failed to back up when coming to town for a wilting fifth over 1800m at Randwick Kensington in BM64 class. Kept fresh and can bounce back quickly after her good win at Newcastle two starts back. MURPHILLY (6) deep into her prep now and looking for a sharp improvement out to the 2100m. Hard in the market when failing to make an impression in the straight finishing sixth over 1600m at Hawkesbury. Worth another chance. PRO VELOCITY (8) recent runs have been okay and this looks a little easier after plugging away late when fifth to Ant over 2000m at Kembla Grange. Best figures keep her in the mix. SO YOU READY (9) fifth up for this after stretching out to this trip for the first time, when recording a plugging fifth over 2100m at Tamworth. Can race a little closer from the draw and take a hand in there finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,6,8,9. |

CHRISTMAS IN JULY @ TEG 19 JULY 2025 SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP 1600m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by The Beast. STEEL RAIN (8) near his top for this and drawn to get the gun run with the tongue tie going on. Had to work hard early from the draw and nailed right on the line when second over 1500m at Goulburn. Regular rider sticks and finds his race today. UNUSUAL PROSPECT (1) resumes after producing good figures at his first Australian start when a fast finishing second over this trip at Kembla Grange last January. Given the two searching trials and gets his chance with Zac Lloyd booked. THE IRON STAR (5) best effort in three career starts when dictating the tempo first up to finish a narrow second over 1300m at Goulburn. Strips fitter and has each way prospects. IVY LEGEND (6) kept fresh for this after making a little ground late when seventh over 1400m at Randwick Kensington. Looking for the trip and not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Steel Rain gets his chance to break through. |

CENTRAL COAST WEDDING FAIR @ TEG 21 SEPTEMBER BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1600m
Without a recognised leader, Tip Top Timing and Rhegion will likely set the pace. SURREAL I AM (2) finally putting it all together this time in and chasing his third win from his last four outings. Returns from Queensland after producing good stats when rounding them up effortlessly to salute over this trip at the Sunshine Coast Poly. Has fitness on his side and this no tougher. COVERT THINKING (6) got off the mark at start three when a determined winner over this track and trip on the heavy going. Can keep the ball rolling with Stanley's 3kg claim. TIP TOP TIMING (5) bumped into the smart Hooligan Tommy third up when a fading third over the mile at Kembla Grange. Will roll forward again and give plenty of cheek. HARD PICK (7) up in trip when a surprise on pace win at the good odds over 1600m at Hawkesbury. Will benefit from the claim again and stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Surreal I Am to go close again. |

LAKEY LEGENDS BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200m
Only a small field with Miss Cartel likely to find a comfortable lead. BURJ (6) undefeated first up and resumes in a winnable race with leading rider booked. Expected to have developed further over the break and looked to have plenty in hand when second in a 740m Randwick trial. Stalks the pace and gets every chance. DIDDLE DUMPLING (3) raced in tougher company last prep and returns with an okay fresh record. Not asked to do much in two recent trials and the booking of Nash Rawiller is a positive sign. Will be closing off late. COOL LAD (5) fourth up today and comes out of a solid form race after attacking the line late when taking ground off French Marine to run second over 1250m at Newcastle. Well placed again with Prag's 3kg claim. POWER BALLARD (1) this looks an easier assignment after two even runs in town. Gets weight relief with Bourke's claim and not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Burj to take catching on resumption. |
