COCO'S HERO (8) is a two-year-old colt on debut by Fire Away from Miss Coco who has produced one to win at G1 level. Will pay to watch for any late betting push. |

MATCH THAT (4) is better than her last start run would. She won on debut over 1000m on this course two runs back. It is encouraging that Andrew Fortune steps back into the saddle and she may find herself in the winner's enclosure. SPORTS FAN (3) showed good speed when winning her last start over 1000m at Fairview. It must be noted that the second and third placed horses have come out and won since. Rates well as a leading chance. PARALEGAL (2) gets the services of the 2.5kg claiming apprentice Brevan Plaatjies which will assist her cause. She finished a bold fourth of 14 over 1000m at this track two nuns back and jumping from an inside draw has each-way claims. PANJANDRUM (9) is an unraced daughter of Rafeef from the James Crawford stable with Richard Fourie up. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. |

DARE TO DREAM RACING SYNDICATE MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
FUTURE FREE (11) caught the eye when finishing third of 10 over this course and distance when on debut last start. He lost a length leaving the start and finished off his race strongly. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can go close. KANAAL SKATER (13) is better than his last start run over this course and distance would suggest. His debut effort when third of 13 at this track was encouraging. He has plenty of scope and he should pose a threat. PALANCAR (10) stayed on well when second over this course and distance last time. If confirming his recent improvement, he should be involved in the fight to the finish. AFRICAN MEMOIR (16) ran an encouraging race on debut over 1000m on this course. He lost a length at the start, understandably raced green but stayed on at the finish to run fourth of 10. He will like the rise to 1200m and and is well worth considering. |

CELEBRATING CENTURION MEMBER NANCY HOSSACK'S BIRTHDAY MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
CLAIR DE LUNE (2) stayed on well when second over this course and distance last time, but found one too good on the day. She has some class about her and she can go one better in this line-up. THINGAMABOB (13) stayed on well when third of eight over 1000m on this course last time. She will enjoy the step up to 1200m and rates well as a leading chance. RED TAFFETY (15) showed improvement when second over this course and distance last time. It must be noted that the winner of that last race has come out and won again since. She is a progressive type and is in the mix. MISS WILLIAM (8) is lightly raced with decent form lines to her name. She should have finished closer last time as she hung outwards in the closing stages. She is likely to race on the speed and if keeping on a straight line should be fighting out the finish. |

LADY VERITAS (4) ran a fair race on debut over 1400m on this course last start. She lost a length leaving the start, had to check at the 150m mark but stayed on nicely at the finish to run fifth of nine at long odds. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie is booked to ride. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat. BEACH QUEEN (2) was her own worst enemy last time as she over raced around the turn. Her penultimate run when second under Muzi Yeni catches the eye. She has drawn a good draw of two and back in maiden grade should pose a threat. OCOTILLO (1) was outrun late when third of 10 over 1400m here last time. She is likely to race up on the speed from pole position and cannot be ignored. KISSES (9) showed very good improvement when third over 1400m last time. She set the pace before getting outrun late. She would have come on from the run and she should strip much fitter. In the mix. |

STRAWBERRY THIEF (4) scored an easy win winning her last start over this course and distance. She meets a similar line-up here and can follow up with another victory. LAVENDER BAY(6) finished second behind the top selection last time out when resuming from a spell. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today which is could enough for the tables to be turned. LICKETY SPLIT (3) stayed on well when third of 11 over this course and distance in her second run this prep. She has a good draw of three and having won third-up previously can feature. TAP SHOES (5) stayed on well when finishing fourth to the top selection last start. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. Include in exotic bets. |

MAGIC VERSE (5) stayed on strongly when finishing third of seven on a Stakes race last time out over 1959m at this track. He has won twice from three starts over this distance. He looks the one to beat. SUGAR MOUNTAIN (3) won a good race in his last start over 1400m. Two of his nine victories have come over this distance. Aldo Domeyer retains the ride and the pair merit healthy respect. SEEKING THE STARS (8) finished third in the same race as the above selection last time. Back in form he can once again finish in the money. MUCHO DINERO (4) is better than his last start run would suggest as he was reported to be not striding out. Having his third run this prep and having won in that state previously is well worth a second look. |

KAIBOY (5) stayed on well when fifth over 1100m on this course last time. He has won once and finished second once from three starts over this course and distance. It is encouraging that Andrew Fortune is booked to ride, as his riding style may suit the son of One World. Looks well placed to return to winning form. DANCE VARIETY (9) looked in need of his resuming run last start. Three of his six career victories have come over this course and distance. He will strip a much fitter horse and having won second-up rates well as one of the leading chances. DUMBLEDORE (10) ran on strongly when winning his last start over this course and distance. Richard Fourie retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect. ARCTIC WIZARD (4) is racing well this prep and is close to a win having placed in four of his last five starts, the latest effort a solid third of 10 at this track over 1200m. Jumps from a good draw of four and has to be respected. |

MONT LOISIR (1) is better than his last start run for fifth of nine as the favourite over 1400m would suggest. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this course and distance. Richard Fourie won aboard him three runs back and is in the saddle today. Jumping from the inside draw can atone. FIRINGONALLENGINES (2) set the pace over 1400m last time before getting outrun late finishing second of 15. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and over a shorter trop here could prove hard to catch. GRAVITY (9) ran on strongly when winning his last start over 1100m on this course. The 2.5kg claiming apprentice Brevan Plaatjies retains the ride and the pair can't be ignored. SUN DAZED (6) looks close to a winning run after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when finishing third of 15 over 1200m at this track. Should be fighting out the finish. |

If finding the form of her penultimate run when finishing second of 14 at this track should be involved in the finish. POETIC PRINCESS (4) finished fourth of nine here last start over 1200m when well supported. She jumps from a good draw of four and has top-three claims. |
