NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:25 Evergreen Turf Maiden Plate 1600m
Summer Sizzling looks to push on from an outside draw. FUTATSU (8) looks the one to beat having placed in all three runs this preparation, beaten under a length when second on the turf here two back before going within a head as the $1.60 favourite last time. Damian Lane takes the ride from a good gate and she should get every chance to break through. JUST LANDED (1) ran well over this track and distance first up with fitness to come. TRINITY'S D'ORO (10) was sound here last time and is in the mix. VORTEXIA (11) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Futatsu to win.
2 01:00 Drouin & District Community Bank Maiden Plate 1400m
Reasonable tempo with Uptown Boy probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. TAUNG (12) wasn't beaten far first up at Swan Hill in a rich Vobis race, only 2.5 lengths off the winner. He showed a bit of ability in one run last time in when third at Geelong and this suits. HOFF IS ENUFF (5) has had three starts to date, placing in two. He was good last start at Bendigo over 1300m and looks to get a good run from barrier four. Should prove tough to beat. MIZEN (7) was just fair here last time over 1600m but the run prior at Ballarat Synthetic was good. PAULARTES (10) is in the mix with BURJ EMPEROR (3).  SUGGESTED PLAY: Taung to win.
3 01:30 Carlisle Furniture & Bedding Maiden Plate 1200m
Solid early tempo from Deminaur who will look to lead from the rails draw. LOVELYCUT (12) resumes having run in a good race on debut at Caulfield Heath, working home fairly well for fifth, beaten four lengths. Has since spelled and should find this a fair bit easier with D Lane taking the ride. FLYING MEAN (4) has been a touch costly to follow, well beaten last start as favourite at Seymour. He has ability and a synthetic surface could play into his hands. BIGCAT (1) has placed in two of his past three, good at this track and distance last time out. Won't need to improve much to go close. CUBEACHECK (2) is a Rubick gelding on debut for the Matt Laurie yard. Should run well.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lovelycut to win.
4 02:00 Australian Racing Tours 3YO Maiden Plate 1000m
Abundant early pace from the speedy trio of Hollywood Ace, Redemption Time and Bold Print. TWO FAULTS (6) ran a good race last start on the Ballarat Synthetic, running on well from back in the field to grab third, beaten under a length. He may be able to settle a pair closer from the gate here and will take beating if so. BOLD PRINT (1) resumes. He placed on debut at Pakenham before tackling a decent maiden and spelling. Expecting improvement now and from the inside gate he should prove hard to catch. REDEMPTION TIME (11) has been around the mark in all three starts to date, beaten just 1.5 lengths at Seymour when last seen. Strong each way hope off that. JEROBI (3) can bounce back with the first-up run at Werribee good enough to figure. HOLLYWOOD ACE (9) is in the mix while fresh.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Two Faults to win.
5 02:30 Sportsbet Jockey Watch BM64 Handicap 1000m
Solid early tempo set by Zuetoro. ZUETORO (6) will have to raise the bar from a maiden win on debut at Swan Hill but is in the right camp to do so with Price & Kent Jnr. Certainly more depth here but at each-way odds he can get into the finish. CLOCK STRIKES (3) is coming off a soft victory by 2.3 lengths at this track and distance albeit in a slightly easier race. He's a consistent type who drops 1kg in weight for the win and will be well fancied for the double. HISSY FIT (7) wasn't bad first up at Mornington over this trip in a stronger race, beaten 3.8 lengths. Fitter and back in class, she should take beating. MAGWAZI (5) resumes. She showed good ability last time in and maps well.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Zuetoro each-way.
6 03:00 Ultrasigns BM58 Handicap 1200m
Plenty of pace from the outset with The Lupercal and Mochi leading the charge. DIRTY GRIN (4) likes to find one better with five runner-up finishes from 10 starts, including a narrow miss at this track and trip on resumption. He should strip fitter for that and won't need to improve much at all to take this out. UNLIMITED MAGIC (3) beat Dirty Grin here last start but can put in some poor runs from time to time. She does map well from the draw here and can win again. SOME SHEILA (9) comes here third-up and ready to fire. She drops in class from last start at Sale and will be running on strongly. JASKIER (1) is a lightly raced 3yo who won his maiden two back. Poor last time on heavy ground but this should suit better. DONATION (7) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Dirty Grin to win.
7 03:30 Sportsbet Bet With Mates BM58 Handicap 1200m
Expecting Sheeza Tilly to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. TORONLUCA (6) is a consistent type who has placed in two of her past three, rolling along in front before being run down at Wangaratta. She draws to get a good run here and back slightly in trip should suit. FREAK OF NATURE (2) resumes. He's always shown a fair bit of ability but didn't fire at all last time in. He's suited in this grade and if he brings his best he'll take plenty of beating. ARCTIC GIRL (5) is a lightly raced 3yo filly who was just fair first up at Mornington in a stronger race. She won her maiden comfortably second up last time in and looks a solid each way hope. MORNING MELODY (7) resumes and is usually around the mark in this grade. ROYAL SIGNAL (8) is racing well and in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Toronluca.
8 04:00 Plusvital BM70 Handicap 1600m
Super Solar and Our Empress Zoe have sufficient early speed to position at the head of the field. ABSOLUTE DEEL (3) is racing well this time in, winning first up at Sale and again victorious at this track and distance last time out with a solid second in between. Open to further improvement at just his seventh start and should be hard to hold out. TYPHOON HARMONY (2) was just behind Absolute Deel here last time in a return to form. Doesn't win out of turn but must be a solid chance off that. OUR EMPRESS ZOE (6) should find this easier than recent racing, last seen tackling a listed race in Adelaide behind Sea What I See. She's off a let up here and back in trip but her best figures go a fair way to winning this. ADELAIDE ACE (1) showed something last start at Bendigo and is on the radar. SUPER SOLAR (8) should be set to peak third up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Absolute Deel to win.
9 04:30 Precision Mechanical Services BM70 Handicap 1400m
Strong early tempo with Bullet Wing and Apache Star to lead the way over Lady Tino and Slate. TRUFFLE FINDER (8) is a handy type who won well two back as an odds-on favourite at Cranbourne over another handy type in Rackemann. He was okay last start at Sandown-Hillside when midfield and should find this a touch easier. GIN O'CLOCK (3) stepped up to 1500m second up at Geelong and won narrowly. He should only be fitter and should be hard to hold out again. FIASCO TESS (7) won well two back at Mornington and tried hard over this trip at Caulfield last time out. Suited here. APACHE STAR (2) resumes and has a good record over this trip. Strong each way hope. QUEEN OF TUSCANY (10) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Truffle Finder to win.
