Very keen early battle. FREYA'S MOMENT (6) returned from a four-month absence with a handy third over 1050m at Inverell last start. That was a huge improvement on her only other run. Capable of taking this out with the help of the inside gate. HE IS THE KISS (15) made it three minor placings in a row when runner-up over 1100m at Armidale last time. Will enjoy a nice run up on the speed and looks hard to beat on current form. LORD AKOMEED (2) resumes. Probably needs 1200m or more to show his best but he races well at Taree and while fresh should be very competitive. NORTHERN BOOGIE (3) is rarely far away and with luck from a wide gate can play a role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Freya's Moment each-way.
