In a race without a noted leader either Hooklineandtinder or Shake'n'bake can take charge. SHAKE'N'BAKE (7) was good first up at Avoca when beaten under a length before starting $2.50 at Mildura and putting in an average performance when fifth. Should be fitter again and ready to peak now. BARGINO (3) was good on debut at Ballarat before stepping up to 1700m at Warrnambool and struggling when well supported. He had the track pattern against there. Will likely get back again but can improve. AMOURENTE (2) is a gelding by Fiorente on debut for the Paul Preusker yard. Kicks off at a suitable distance and finds a winnable race. Respect.
