Genuine tempo with the speedy Smart City leading the way. QUANTUM PATCH (2) was a long way back turning for home and while he closed off well, he was never a threat, beaten 3.3L. He now draws a better barrier today with Hugh Bowman engaged. Rates well on recent efforts and with a softer run in transit, he can get back into the winners stall. RED HARE KING (4) notched up another win last time out when getting over the top to score by 0.3L. He does rise in weight, but he's been kept ticking over with a recent trial and he maps to get every chance once again. He appears the main danger. ZOOM BOOM (11) just missed last start at his first try over this course and distance when bumping into a good winner. Sticky draw to contend with, but he's right in the mix if he can repeat his latest effort. CAPITAL LEGEND (10) drops in weight off a nice win in easier company last time out and can make it back-to-back wins without surprising.
