GOING: S(5)

Happy Birthday Lacey Morrison QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap 1000m

Track: SOFT 5   Rain (Max: 26)   Rail: Out 0.5m 1000m-W/Post; Out 1.5m Remainder. (Pent: 5.4).

I'lltellyougo and Dubious Authority can set a good tempo. I'LLTELLYOUGO (4) finished runner-up on debut and then won her next 2 starts before going for a spell. She resumes with a couple of trials under her belt, winning the latest of those by a whopping 7.5 lengths. She benefits from a 3-kilo claim and is the one to beat fresh up. SILVER GLITTER (2) has won 2 of her 3 starts this prep and could have the fitness edge over the top pick. She can secure the run of the race from the pole position and will definitely be in the fight to the line here. DUBIOUS AUTHORITY (6) won her only public trial before leading all the way to score on debut at Mackay last December. Justin P Stanley keeps the ride fresh up and she can't be totally ruled out of winning again. THAT'S IT (1) showed plenty of potential in his initial prep and will be even better in this campaign. He has to give weight to some handy fillies but should still give a good account of himself fresh up. SUGGESTED PLAY: I'lltellyougo to win.
