Reasonable tempo with King Furioso probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. SOUTHERN RAPID (11) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins before a last-start second over 1200m at this track. In great form and definitely worth following up. KING FURIOSO (4) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 3 lengths over 1200m at this track. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. RURIIRO (10) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 1200m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. That followed a win at Urawa at the previous outing. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. LEO ATROPOS (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1200m. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
