Cracking early tempo with Easy Fact and Level Four leading the way. KARLSBAD (1) ran well below his best last time over 1200m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth at $2.10. Record here is impressive with five wins from 12 starts. Expected to be in the finish. HASENO EXPRESS (3) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 1.5 lengths into second over 900m at Kawasaki. Should camp just off the leaders. Can go one better. EASY FACT (5) went forward last start over 1200m at this track and held on well for third, beaten 8 lengths. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to take this out. BELLES FLIP (6) is back from a break of 12 weeks. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1200m at this track. Definite top-three chance.
