Strong early tempo with Wonforwazza driving forward from an outside gate and Apple Cider also pushing ahead.
DWINDLING SPIRIT (2) fought on bravely when finishing second by a short-head here when resuming just over a fortnight ago. His only win to date has come second up and he is perfectly placed to get the job done this time. APPLE CIDER (1) was fourth in the same race as the top pick fresh up and he needed that run badly. He was a trial winner before that and will be spot-on for this assignment. He is capable of taking them all of the way this time. NEOCLASSICISM (7) was third in the same race as the top 2 picks and is seldom far from the action. He carries 3.5 kilos less this time thanks to a 2-kilo claim and can never be ruled out of a top 3 finish. ANATINI (13) won a trial before running the race of an improver for fourth here last start. She will be peaking third up and is nicely poised to put her best hoof forward in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Apple Cider each way.
