Nothing to run them along here so the pace looks even at best. K T VEGA (2) was prominent from the outset when third over 1300m at this track last time out. Should be in finish. MEISHO FLAMME (8) resumed over 1300m at this track where she showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths. One to watch for in the closing stages. AGAT (10) strode forward early from her wide draw over 1400m at this track when fresh from a spell last time, leading for much of the way before being claimed in the straight to finish second, beaten 2 lengths. Among the main hopes. MONO SELAS (4) is a four-year-old filly who is still a maiden after 13 starts but has been in the placings two times. Failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last start, beaten 16 lengths into tenth over 1300m at this track. Will drift back but wind up late. Deserves some respect.
