COSMO TARRAGON (1) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 4 lengths away in second over 800m at this track. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. EDONO BANZAI (2) missed the placings last time out over this distance at Kawasaki, beaten 8 lengths. Has a very good record here including two wins from four starts. Bold showing expected. EMPATH (12) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks and is having her outing under new trainer Takashi Mizuno. Finished tenth at Nakayama Dirt over 1200m at the opening run last time in work. Well-placed and is among the chances. SMART BAROWS (10) was comfortably accounted for when second last time out over 1600m at Kawasaki, beaten 9 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. One of the main hopes.
