HASTA LA GORBY may lead in this line-up and is better then the form looks. He’s been racing mostly in better grade and is suited with a small claim and on the quick-back-up. DASH OF MAPLE made sharp improvement at Casterton and has to be considered with the weight drop. BIENVENIDO has got too far back the last couple but placed at Warrnambool prior and has claims. A wet track would suit him. Speed moderate where Svetski and Hasta La Gorby roll forward. HASTA LA GORBY will find this company easier and can return to winning form on his home track. Has the claim and will take running down. BIENVENIDO has been a bit hit and miss lately but does go well here and the trip suits. Has a good gate and this will be easier. SVETSKI is fitter for two runs back and ran a much better race last time. Will take running down here in the small field. DASH OF MAPLE has claims on her last run. Interesting to see how BOUNCING BEVERLY goes after three years off the scene. Fitter for two trials and showed ability in limited starts when she last raced.
