Very keen early battle with Noble Nightowl and Barn Zee matching motors and there are a few others that can keep them busy. BARN ZEE (7) led and gave a great sight when edged out over 1112m here two runs back. Couldn't keep up the frantic pace over 1000m at Seymour last start. Worth another chance stepping up in distance. MONT SAINT MICHEL (6) last raced when beaten under three lengths in a Bm70 over 1400m at Flemington on New Year's Day. Opened last prep with a win on debut over this course and distance. Poses a significant threat. EAMONN'S MEMORY (3) came from last on the bend and passed half the field in a Bm64 over this trip at Cranbourne recently. Down in grade and a big chance despite a tricky draw. The speedy NOBLE NIGHTOWL (2) is in decent form and has a strong record at today's journey. Sure to give backers a sight. The consistent O'REG (8) should be about the money again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Barn Zee each-way.
