Solid pace from Direct Affect and Oneforian fending off pressure from other on-pacers engaged. The Nick Olive-trained local ONEFORIAN (13) peaks today and has threatened all three starts this preparation. Raced favourite at Wagga last time up to the mile and the on-pacer will be well versed around this tricky circuit. He's good enough and is well-placed. SONNY FELLA (2) dropped out sharply in the same race at Newcastle but missed 1L there prior. Will settle back again and will come at them late. HARDAZHELL (6) will also get back but did enough winning the CL1 at Goulburn to suggest he isn't out of it. BON ZIPPER (5) can play a role from the good draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Oneforian.
