Moderate tempo anticipated without a noted leader to run them along. Tricky. PURPLE MOON (10) was much better last time and has more up the sleeve. Lightly raced and maps for the run of the race. GEEGEEHAILSTORM (6) just missed two back at Launceston heavily bet and then didn't have the best of it at Hobart. Needs some luck pushing forward but she should be ready to find her best. ENSIGN EAGLE (1) did a good job from an awkward gate here on debut and has a key jockey switch with Newitt aboard for the 3kg apprentice. Has the rail today and fitter has to be considered. KICKPASS (2) is a likely improver. SUGGESTED PLAY: Playing the exotics around 10,6,1,2.
