BRUTE BLOSSOM (2) pushed forward from a wide draw when first-up from a break last time out and found the front, holding the lead for most of the way and sticking on well to finish second over 850m at this track. Well-placed and will take catching. BIG ROSY ROOF (9) has strung together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on March 24 over 850m when she scored by a neck. Goes up a rung or two but she is worth serious consideration. LORD GUARDIAN (6) was well fancied last start over 850m at this track when third. Great chance to atone. COCYTUS (10) turned in a fine effort to score by 0.8 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a nice progression the first-up run. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role again.
