Certain to be a strong tempo with Pyromaniac, Silent War and Arumugam leading the charge. SILENT WAR (2) has good consistent form lines to his credit. He was running on too late when finishing secondof 10 in his last start over 1600m on the Standside course. He should have no issues with the rise to 1700m and jumping from a good draw of three should prove hard to beat. PYROMANIAC (1) was doing his best work late over 1500m on this course last time. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and if jumping on level terms with his rivals should be fighting out the finish. LA MOOHAL (8) won his last start easily over 1600m at this track when sent out as the favourite. He is racing well this prep and has solid each-way claims. PLAYER (9) had been racing well prior to finishing fifth of 10 over 1600m at Turffontein Standside last start. Rates highly on best form and jumping from a good draw can figure in the finish.
