A number of on-pacers capable of leading. Not a great deal of speed here with most of the fancied runners being prominent, namely Duecourse, Elzette and River's Gift. DUECOURSE resumed with a strong win after a long break. Will strip much fitter and although jumps a grade looks hard to beat again. ELZETTE placed at first two from a spell before running in town in Adelaide. Much easier here and looks well placed. RIVER'S GIFT placed fresh then was a little disappointing latest. Better than that and worth another chance. BLACK MOSHEEN was an impressive fresh up winner and with the claim can go on with it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Expecting Duecourse to take the next step.
