Expecting Breakwater Boy to take up the running with Aidenabet and Castile close at hand. SPEED LEGEND (1) ran on late when resuming at Cairns over 950 metres and is unbeaten in 2 starts on this course. He is out to a much more suitable trip of 1400 metres second up and should be the one to beat. Stick with him. CASTILE (5) has been in good form this prep and was runner-up in a stronger lineup here a fortnight ago. His record over this trip is not so flash but he gets a chance to improve his stats in this. OUTBACK ACTION (6) is very hard to catch and would need to repeat his win at Bowen 2 starts back on the picnic circuit to be any chance here. Include in all multiples. TALONS (9) just missed out by a nose on making it 2 wins on the bounce here last start. He has 6 kilos less to carry this time and is sure to make his presence felt again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Speed Legend to win.
