Just Boogie to set a solid early tempo. MR SAXABEAT (1) loomed up and fought hard to record a comfortable win last start Echuca. Had a bit up his sleeve and should eat up the extra 200m. Can make it two on the bounce. BRINGBACKTHEBEARS (7) has worked nicely into this campaign, coming through a good form race two back at Canberra before running into the placings at the same venue at the latest. Cherry-ripe now and is drawn to get the gun run. Don't take lightly. JUST BOOGIE (6) was well below his best last start at Goulburn when stepping out over a longer journey. Drops back to a winning trip and gets weight relief. Comes into calculations. ANGEL (2) was no match for a handy winner last start at Pakenham. This doesn't look as tough, as he steps out to a preferred distance and gets a key jockey booking in Beasley. Can give this a shake. EL LAGO (3) offered little last start when finishing rearward in the LR Canberra Cup. This is much easier. Don't underestimate. ABSEILER (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going Mr Saxabeat to win.
