Zonk kicks up from barrier 2. Hard to know where to look here for a pacemaker as there a slick beginners drawn right across the line. ZONK has been freshened up since overcoming adversity to finish just a long neck away over 1300m at Warwick Farm five weeks ago. Drawn well and should get the perfect trail just in behind the pace. SAVVAN found the lead at the furlong pole last start over this course and distance only to be mowed down shortly after and miss a place. Has performed well this prep in much harder races so is a winning chance. LADY I AM raced without luck when 3rd at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago over this distance. Can win if she runs up to that form. WAIMEA BAY has placed 2/2 at this trip so worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Waimea Bay for the win.
