Big field is sure to generate a bit of speed and Collegiate is the most likely to take it up. BALABINA missed by a lip here 3U for the in-form yard sitting on-speed and is a lightly-raced improver. Should secure a nice run and clearly rates the one to beat.
HIGH WIND has looked in need of racing for the leading yard but close off well last time and the mile suits the well-bred gelding. The wide gate is the issue and Orman sticks with Balabina. COLLEGIATE can lead off the paint and the last start placing was his first show of form since coming from NSW. Gets the 3kg claim and has genuine claims. DAY OF THE FOX and BEERS AT SUNRISE look in the mix.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Balabina close to a win and can get it here, play her straight out.
