Pace a scorcher, headed by Blau Horizon, Meisho Lilium and Tamano Fiore, closely followed by Pantanal and Taisei Spurt. TAMANO FIORE (4) continued a hot streak of form, winning over 1400m at this track last start to make it four straight. Kept fresh and expected to be in the finish. TAISEI SPURT (5) is a distance specialist who has been in good form, scoring three back at this track then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing third when he was always up in the leading division here. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KITANO FALCON (9) ran well below his best last time over 1400m at this track, beaten 3 lengths into fourth at $1.70. Winning rider Seiji Yamazaki sticks. Sure to be competitive. PANTANAL (8) started this prep with a win then a fair effort last time out when fourth over 1200m at Funabashi, beaten 2.5 lengths. Worth another chance.
