Lots of speed predominantly from Admiral Madame, Kai Come and Switch And Slide. KAI COME (8) is better than his last 2 starts suggests. He gets the blinkers back on and the drop back to 1200 metres will suit him. With the aid of a 1.5 kilos claim, he can bounce back into the money. Each-way value. MAROONS (1) was fifth on debut and then improved quickly to finish runner-up last start. The step up to 1200 metres will be in his favour and he won't be in this grade for long. PURPOSE 'N' VISION (7) was a beaten favourite over 950 metres at Cairns last time out and she will relish the extra furlong on offer here. A wide gate is no help but she can make amends. Follow your money. ADMIRAL MADAME (5) did not fire here last start after making an encouraging debut at Cairns for third before that. She has a nice swing in the draws this time and is worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kai Come each-way.
