Expecting High On Sugar to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. HOT OFF (4) was denied narrowly of getting off the mark at the latest. Blinkers go on first time and it could well prove the winning touch on the short turnaround. HIGH ON SUGAR (2) stuck on gamely to just miss when resuming at Strathalbyn. Likely improver and doesn't lose a great deal in the saddle with Crowther replacing Toeroek. TRUMPTY DUMPTY (11) is and American Pharoah gelding stepping out on debut for the smart R & C Jolly stable. Anticipate a forward showing off the back of a close trial placing. Toeroek sticking from trial is a big push for his chances but he will need to give a smart steer from the ugly gate. STAR STUDDED BELLE (12) progressed nicely second-up when falling less than a length shy of the winner at Oakbank. Right in the mix with further improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hot Off gets the nod.
