Fights On will go fast but there are few first starters lining up who could keep him on his toes. Lots of these close to getting off the mark. GARONNE (15) was narrowly defeated last start when second over 1600m at this track. Has placed three of five runs and long overdue. Sure to go well. FIGHTS ON (6) returned from a break of four months with a solid second last start at Kokura over 1200m when he was up on the pace all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Among the winning hopes. RED EVANS (12) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.3 lengths when fourth over 1600m at Chukyo three weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SALUEZ (10) is back from a spell of six months. Debuted with a second, beaten a neck, over 1400m at Kyoto at his only appearance to date. Definite chance.
