Although a few sit handy there won't be a great deal of early pressure. IVERSON (10) kicked off his campaign with a fast-finishing win at this track then closed well again to finish 0.7 lengths away in second last start over 1400m at Eagle Farm. The step up to mile should suit and he'll be race fit third up. MASCARET (8) worked home well last start and missed by just half a length when third over 1650m at this track. Draws lower and is race fit so may be ready to strike. COMMODUS (2) was impressive last start when he led and kicked away to salute by four lengths over 1660m at this track. Up in grade but must be respected off that. HE'S HEAVEN (3) opened this prep with a win at this track then performed well again last time out when third over 1400m at Eagle Farm. Proven at the mile. Contender. JUPITUS (11) switches form Melbourne and can measure up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Iverson goes on on top.
