Beyond Dispute should lead. AIM SMART was most impressive saluting on debut at Pukekohe last month. Won convincingly and with a bit up his sleeve. Should go on with things here. I GOT YOU makes his race debut after winning a pair of trials prior to this. Expecting a big debut from him. There is good pace and power in this small field of colts and geldings only. The way that AIM SMART won on debut clockwise easily from the same awkward barrier as today was uber-impressive. The Australian bred colt prior had won a left-handed trial easily. Whatever beats him should win. SUMMER MONSOON and SUMMER PASSAGE are locals from the same stable that drew gates one and two so that is a big tick hometown tick already. The former has speed and is more tractable this direction so should be the biggest danger to the top pick. The latter ran second to the first pick on debut and is better drawn this time. Placing again likely. Mighty Power has speed and raceday experience so has to be in the multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Aim Smart straight out off that strong debut victory.
