Kenny Succeed can use the inside draw and Alakai looks to come across and press the lead. Malverna can settle up in the first three. ALAKAI looks to land in a great spot on that map outside the leader and from there he is going to be hard to beat. There looks only three winning chances. ALAKAI has put three good runs together since moving to NSW. She keeps showing she is a 1000m horse. A liking for wet tracks says she will show up as well. KENNY SUCCEED will be going forward once more off barrier one. He handles the conditions and racing there could be the spot on the day. MALVERNA has several new gear changes for the resuming run. He does need to do everything right but that hasn't always been the case. CARAVEL just seems to find a few better no matter the grade. He does enjoy affected ground though. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen to back Alakai.
